Spay/Neuter Program

The opening of the Meyer Finlay Pet Adoption Center on Bower Parkway introduces perhaps the single most important component in reducing animal overpopulation and the euthanasia of homeless pets in the Midlands: Pawmetto Lifeline's Spay/Neuter Clinic. Our high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter clinic will have the capability of altering tens of thousands of pets every single year and holds the key to achieving a no-kill community.

In September 2011 Pawmetto Lifeline was officially accepted as a member of the National Spay Neuter Response Team. This designation is reserved for organizations trained and certified by the Humane Alliance, a group nationally recognized for its best practices model for high-quality/high-volume spay and neuter.

Pawmetto Lifeline will offer services to the general public but will focus its efforts most aggressively on communities with high rates of animal reproduction and pets belonging to low-income populations. By bringing your pet to our clinic, you will also help to provide a spay/neuter surgery to a less fortunate pet. We call it Buy One, Give One.

In addition special pricing structures will be made available to other rescue organizations and municipalities who would benefit from the use of our spay/neuter services.

If you are interested in learning more about our clinic, the services that will be offered or would like to schedule an appointment please contact us today at (803) 407-0991 or email info@pawmettolifeline.org .
